About the Author
Paul de Guingand is an Australian children’s book author living in Melbourne with his wife and family.

In a career spanning many decades, Paul has achieved success across numerous professional roles – from his early work as a cocktail bar pianist to more recent CEO and upper management positions in major logistics companies.
​
Paul has been happily married to Deborah for 40 years and together have had four children – with grandchildren arriving shortly.
​
The Buffalemu is Paul’s first book, and is dedicated to his beloved family.
About the Illustrator
Nandina has been drawing pictures since she was very young. In high school, Nandina was a keen art student, she then went on to study art at university.
After university, Nandina found employment as a graphic designer. After many years as a graphic designer, Nandina made a life change and decided to follow her dream of illustrating for picture books.
An illustrator of over 20 children’s picture books, Nandina illustrates every day and derives great pleasure from bringing the author’s stories to life on the pages.
